Enjoy a warm welcome at our distinctive shops and spas.

You've tasted the wine, sampled the fresh fruits and vegetables, and photographed the quirky attractions. So what's left to do in the Yakima Valley? Why, shop, of course! It may be best known for its wineries and produce stands, but the Valley's hidden gems are its distinctive shops and friendly merchants.

Start with the Visitor Information Center on Fair Avenue at the edge of downtown Yakima, which offers more than just maps and tips for traveling the Valley. The gift shop represents a who's who of local products, from Yakima Valley wines to chocolate-covered cherries, plus handcrafted jewelry and accessories from around the world.
If you forgot to pack a corkscrew or want to pick up an extra bottle of your favorite Yakima Valley wine, you'll find Northwest wines, essentials and gifts at Stems in downtown Yakima. The historic district is also home to a handful of tasting rooms, where you can sample a selection of wines and buy a bottle of your favorite to take with you.

For feminine clothing and accessories, stop by Gretchen on West Yakima Avenue, or Garden Dance on North Front Street, where you'll also find garden-inspired accoutrements and antiques. For an unparalleled selection of apparel, accessories, home d├ęcor and gifts, visit the 4,000-square-foot Fiddlesticks on Summitview Avenue.

Other shops not to be missed are The Shopkeeper on Summitview Avenue for sophisticated home furnishings and gifts; The Little Soapmaker on West Yakima Avenue for aromatic handmade soaps and bath and body products; and Vaux Shoes on Summitview Avenue for stylish, comfortable footwear.

The Valley Mall in Union Gap features a variety of shops, discount stores, salons and restaurants, all under one roof, including American Eagle Outfitters, Macy's, Borders Books, Famous Footwear, TJ Maxx and Old Navy.

The only thing better than a day of shopping is a day of pampering at one of Yakima's soothing spas. Ummelina International Day Spa on East Yakima Avenue offers an extensive menu of relaxing and rejuvenating massages, facials and footbaths. Or unwind after a busy day with A La Mode Spa & Salon's calming Stress Reliever massage.
